Hello Wild Walkers!
We are very excited to invite you to join us on our first Wild Walk with our new funding from Hackney Council!
Date: Wednesday 10th October
Time: 4pm
Meeting point: The Big Rock on Mabley Park (E9 5HW)
Nearest bus stop: Kingsmead Estate Bus Stop B, on Homerton Road
We can help you figure out your journey to Mabley Green if you need, please just ask!
The walk is around Hackney Marshes and Daubeney Fields. We will stop off for tea and play in the adventure park and some other great spots! All families will receive a map of the walk and an Outdoor Family Journal to record memories of your outdoor adventures.
We recommend you bring snacks, water and warm and waterproof clothing. We have a supply of free children's waterproof clothing, so please get in touch with us if your child does not have waterproofs.
We do have limited numbers, so please RSVP to beth@outdoorpeople.org.uk to reserve a spot for you and your family. Given the limited space, please do let us know if your circumstances change and you are unable to join us. Please also provide us with a contact detail, in case you can't find us!
